Lessons learned- first of all, when you’re leaving Michigan to drive to Florida with two teenagers and one pre-teen, you MUST choose a stopping point and pre-book the hotel! Otherwise, even seasoned travelers such as myself, will find themselves in a bind in the middle of the night trying to find a hotel that isn’t sold out!
Second HOT TIP- staying at one of the Universal properties is worth paying a little extra to get the benefits offered to their guests, such as early entrance into the park-or Fast Passes at no additional charge.
